Solent Freight Services was founded in 1995 in New York City. What started as a single-office logistics operation has grown into an IATA-certified, 100% neutral air freight wholesaler working with the world’s freight forwarders and express carriers for over 30years.
Neutral means exactly what it sounds like: we don’t compete with our customers for end shippers. Every forwarder and express company working with Solent gets our full buyingpower and network — not a competitor watching their business.
Our Group
Solent operates as a group of companies, each with a specific role:
- Solent Freight Services LTD — New York and Doral, FL (USA) — the group’s airfreight wholesaler and commercial headquarters.
- Solent Air Cia Ltd — Quito, Ecuador — GSA/GHA representation for South America.

- Critical Cargo — time-sensitive, high-priority shipments handled with urgency from pickup to delivery.
- Project Cargo — oversized, complex, and multi-leg shipments coordinated end-to-end, including heavy-lift and out-of-gauge freight.
- Perishable Cargo — temperature-aware handling and routing for shipments that can’t wait.
- Pharma — specialized handling for pharmaceutical shipments where chain-of-custody and conditions matter.
- Oversized Cargo — freight that doesn’t fit standard handling, planned and executed by a team that’s done it before.
- Flight Supervision — on-the-ground oversight at load and offload to make sure cargo is handled the way it was promised.
